The Friends of Corryong Library Inc (FOCL) have been an important part of the community in Corryong for a number of years. Our Aims are as follows:
* To promote the Library within the community
* To sponsor events and activities
* To provide special gifts and other items for the Library
* To promote activities for volunteers
* To organise Library book sales
* To raise funds for the Library
* To act as an advocate and lobbyist for the Library
Amongst the many activities we have been part of is the Elyne Mitchell Rural Women’s Writing Award
where women over the age of 12 can win up to $1000 for writing a short story on some aspect of rural life in Australia.
